Kids Of Courage Awards - The Winners

Wire FM's Kids Of Courage Awards 2010 sponsored by Cockhedge Shopping Park took place at the Odeon Cinema, Westbrook on Sun 21st March.

The afternoon was hosted by Wire FM Presenters Jason Hardy, Matt Lane & Pete Pinnington.

Wire FM's Kids Of Courage Awards remind all of us that, despite what anyone thinks, throughout our area there are extraordinary youngsters living selfless lives, showing unbelievable courage & caring for their families, neighbours & communities.

To start guests were treated to entertainment from two local youngsters - Singer Lucie Evans & Comedian Josh Dimelow.

The Mayor & Mayoress Of Warrington and Mayor & Mayoress Of Halton were also present to show their support.

Norma Hornby and young people from the Canal Boat Adventure Project also joined in the celebrations. The Canal Boat Adventure Project were the afternoon's chosen charity in the raffle.

Following the awards, guests were treated to a FREE private screening of the new Walt Disney & Tim Burton film 'Alice In Wonderland' starring Johnny Depp.
