Pete at Oulton Park

Last Tuesday I was invited along to Oulton Park Race Track by the Speedworks Motorsport team to experience their new Ginetta G50 sports car on the track.

I've always been one for white knuckle rides but wahey this was one brilliant experience. Being the passenger in a sports car driving at excessive speeds on the track!

Although because I'm currently on an advanced driving course, I couldn't help but tell driver Jamie to brake for the corners in good time and not be so rough with the gearbox! Fortunately the engine was roarrring so loudly that he couldn't hear me. Otherwise I'm sure he would have pressed the ejector seat!!
