Driver killed in Surrey Coach crash was from Warrington

A coach driver killed taking Merseyside festival goers home has been named as Colin Daulby from Warrington.

The crash in Surrey on Monday night, has left three people dead, and many more in hospital, some with life-changing injuries.


The coach, from Merseypride Travel, based in Speke, was heading back to the northwest, from the Bestival Music festval on the Isle of Wight, when it careered off the road and hit a tree.

Mr Daulby, who was 63, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of his neighbours says they're all in shock.

Another of the victims is 18 year old Michael Molloy from Woolton in Liverpool.

He'd gone to the festival on someone else's ticket, and in the hours after the crash,his mum posted a desperate appeal on facebook, for any information.

Michael's brother tweeted on Tuesday night, 'Michael died instantly from severe head trauma. RIP bro'

The third victim's identity hasn't been released yet.

Surrey Police are continuing their investigations into how the tragedy happened.
