A man has been charged after the suspicious death of a woman who was found in an Oldham house.

Foyez Ahmed (born 28/1/81) of Matthew Close, Oldham has been charged with murder.

He is due to appear before Oldham Magistrates' Court on Monday 11 June 2012.

Razu Khanum, 38-years-old, was found in the house on Matthew Close shortly after 10.30am on Friday 8 June 2012.

She was taken to hospital but died from her injuries.

A post-mortem examination has established that the cause of death was severe head trauma and neck injuries.
