A woman who died in a road traffic collision in Bolton has been identified.
Shortly after 12.20pm on Thursday 24 May 2012, police were called to Bury Road in Brieghtmet following reports of a collision.
Officers attended and found that a lorry had been in collision with Dawn Graves, aged 25.
Dawn was pushing her 20-month-old son across the road at the time.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Sgt Matt Bailey-Smith, SCIU, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends at this difficult time. They are receiving support from a specially trained officer. An investigation is underway and I ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have information to contact us."
