Two men arrested after Man City club shop window smashed

Damaged after Manchester derby

Police have arrested a second man in connection with criminal damage at a shop in Manchester city centre.

At 10.15pm on Monday 30 April 2012, police were called to the Manchester City club shop on Market Street, Manchester city centre following reports of criminal damage.


On arrival, officers discovered a window had been smashed.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and possessing a controlled drug.

This morning, Tuesday 1 May 2012, police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage.

Both remain in custody for questioning.

Inquiries are continuing.
