A Charity Appealing For Help To Create Dream Wedding For Warrington Man With Terminal Cancer

Gift Of A Wedding is looking for businesses to help create the special day for the couple from Lymm.

The groom has terminal cancer and a very short time to live, so the one thing he wants most in the whole world is to marry his fiancée next month.

A special appeal has been put out on the A Gift of a Wedding Facebook page asking for services.

After a two day plea, the charity have already been offered hair and make-up services, dresses, suits and wedding favours alongside various other things.

The charity is now urgently seeking the following:

Wedding planner
Swing Band
Drinks Reception Singer: Blues/Swing/Jazz
Male Grooming
Cake
Venue Dressing
Photo Booth
Ice Cream Cart
Large Rustic Light Up Letters
Grooms Car - Campervan

Patricia Harrison who is the founder of A Gift of a Wedding says she's been overwhelmed with the support so far: "We've probably got about 4 weeks to put this wedding together to help this young man.

"We've had an absolutely beautiful response and it restores my faith in human beings.

"We still have a few things that we need to get for this young mans wedding."

The appeal has had over a 100 comments so far with people all across Cheshire coming together to make the young couples dream come true and create memories.

"It's a day where they can have a really good time and have a nice time with the person that's not well, rather than seeing them in a hospital when that person is at their worst."

Anyone who can help and provide their services is being asked to message the charity on Facebook or email icanhelpwarrington@giftofawedding.org
