Appeal following distraction burglary in Warrington

Police in Warrington are appealing for information following a distraction burglary at an address in Warrington.

The incident is believed to have occurred at 2.30pm on Monday 13 July 2015 at an address on Dunnock Grove, Warrington.

During the incident the offender attended the address and asked to use the toilet, then asked the occupant for a drink due to being diabetic. The offender used the toilet once more before leaving the address. The occupant then found that cash had been stolen from the property.

The offender is described as a white man, slim build, aged between 19-25 years of age, 5ft 4inches tall with medium length light coloured hair, possibly wearing pale blue jeans and spoke with a local accent.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 326 of 14/7/2015. Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
