Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a robbery in Latchford.
Shortly after 2pm on Friday 25 January a 24-year-old man was walking through the park off Loushers Lane when he was approached by an unknown man.
The man threatened the victim and stole a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
He also caused an injury to the victim’s finger which required hospital treatment.
The offender was described as man who was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and had a dark coloured scarf over his face.
Detective Constable John Parry said: “The victim has been left shaken as a result of this incident and we are committed to doing all that we can to trace the person responsible.
“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and I’m keen to hear from anyone with information that could assist our investigation.
“I’d specifically like to hear from anyone who was in the park of Loushers Lane around the time of the incident and believes they may have witnessed anything suspicious.
“I’m also keen to hear from any motorists with dashcams who were driving on Loushers Lane between 1.30pm and 3.00pm.”
