Man charged following Warrington drugs raids

Officers from Warrington LPU Beat Management, Beat Team, Special Constables, Cheshire Task Force and Alliance Policing (Dog Handlers) executed two drugs warrants at addresses in the town.

The first took place at an address in Morris Avenue in Latchford where two men – a 23-year-old and a 32-year-old – were arrested for drugs offences. The 32-year-old has since been charged with possession of a Class B drug, and for breaching a court order in relation to keeping dogs. The 23-year-old has been released without charge.

A second warrant was executed at an address in Leicester Street, Whitecross, where a quantity of drugs was found. The 31-year-old occupant was arrested and has been released on police bail.
