Man in hospital after collision in Warrington

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A49 in Warrington at around 9.15am on Tuesday 28 October 2014.

The incident took place on Brick Street on Tuesday 28th October around 9.15am near the Cockhedge roundabout when it is believed that a dark-coloured Vauxhall Insignia was involved in a collision with a white Volkswagen Polo.

The driver of the insignia, a 50 year old man from Liverpool, was uninjured. The driver of the white polo, a 23 year old man, was taken by ambulance to Warrington Hospital following the collision, where his condition is being assessed.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision to contact them on 101
