Police Are Urging The Public With Any Information To Come Forward Following A Car Fire In Warrington

At around 9.15pm firefighters were called to reports of a car being on fire in St Marys Street, Warrington.

On arrival the crew found a saloon car well alight.

Firefighters, including one wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

They then damped the area down to make it safe. Firefighters were in attendance for nearly an hour.
