Runcorn man charged with sexual assault

A man from Runcorn's been charged after two women were sexually assaulted in Manchester.

On 19 September 2014, a man dressed in a high-visibility jacket and wearing an identity badge knocked on an address in  Wythenshaw and offered to tarmac the occupant's driveway.

When the woman said no, the man tried to talk his way into the property before sexually assaulting her.

The second offence happened on 29 September 2014 when a man knocked on an address in Brooklands and offered to clean the householder's driveway. The man made comments to the female victim before he assaulted her.

Andrew Rylett of Warrington Road has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and appeared before Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on 11 October 2014.
