Witness Appeal Following Serious Collision In Culcheth

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision in Warrington.

At approximately 4.45pm on Thursday 21 November a silver Peugeot was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Common Lane in Culcheth.

The pedestrian, a 17-year-old local girl, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Salford Royal Hospital by ambulance where she remains in a serious condition.

The road was closed and reopened at 10.44pm.

Sergeant Andrew Dennison said: “We are currently following enquiries in relation to this collision and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen it take place or has any information which could help with the investigation.

“I would also encourage anyone who was driving in the area at the time and could have dashcam footage to submit it through to us.”
